Training - Booking Terms and Conditions
Unless
otherwise agreed in writing, CEDIA's standard terms and conditions for the
supply of training services are as described below.
Payment
can be made via our online platform or over the telephone and booking
confirmation will be sent by email.
Where
applicable, VAT has been included in the cost of all in-person training courses
as per notice 741 in section 5 of HM Customs & Excise notices. A VAT
receipt will be issued within 10 working days of payment.
No
training can be undertaken without full payment and no reservations can be
accepted without payment.
All
courses are subject to minimum attendance. CEDIA reserves the right to cancel
any courses that do not meet these requirements. In the event of a cancelled
course, you will be offered to choose an alternative course date or to receive
a full refund. In case of cancellation CEDIA is not responsible for
non-refundable hotel accommodation and will advise that you arrange flexible
reservations.
Cancellation
notification must be made in writing and emailed to: emcmylor@cedia.org
i)
Course cancellations made at least 3 weeks (21+ days) before the start date
will be eligible for a full refund.
ii)
Course cancellations at least 2 weeks (between 20 and 14 days) before the start
date will receive 75% refund.
iii) Course
cancellations at least 1 week (between 13 and 7 days) before the start date
will receive 50% refund.
iv)
Course cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date will receive no
refund.
v)
Courses may be rearranged once free of charge, if done so more than 21 days
prior to course start date. Re-arrangement made less than 21 days prior and any
further re-arrangement will be subject to a $65 or £50 administration fee per
student per day. After being rearranged, bookings are subject to the
cancellation terms listed here.
Formal
Complaints Policy
In
the first instance, if you are unable to resolve a complaint or issue
informally, you should write a formal complaint letter to the CEDIA EMEA
Education Department. This can be sent via email to education@cedia.co.uk, or by
post to:

In
your letter, you should set out the details of your complaint, the consequences
for you as a result, and the remedy you are seeking. You must also include
your: First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Email Address, and Telephone Number.
You
can expect your complaint to be acknowledged within 7 working days of receipt.
You should get a response and an explanation within 14 working days.
