For more than 25 years, Campbell has been a driving force in the consumer electronics industry.  A well-recognized and respected expert in advancing the art of home theater interiors and marketing technical products and luxury goods to women, Campbell utilizes her considerable experience and industry expertise as the managing director of the Technology Insider Group and as co-publisher and partner of Technology Designer magazine. She is also the co-founder of the Elf Foundation that builds “Rooms of Magic” in children’s hospitals and the founder of Women in Consumer Technology.

Will West and Eric Smith first became acquainted through a mutual friend while West was operating a high-end A/V shop and Smith was a computer science student at Brigham Young University. The two have a rich history within the tech industry having launched four companies together over a 15-year period.

Their first company provided media retrieval services for colleges while the next one, PHAST, began their first foray into home automation. They ended up selling the company two years after its founding and started anew once again, this time in the hotel broadband business. West and Smith each shared fond memories of the three corners of the tech industry they served, but the one that always felt like home, says West, was home automation. In 2003, after their non-compete agreement was up with PHAST, West and Smith launched Control4, a new home automation company. A year later, Control4 made its grand debut at the 2004 CEDIA Expo and released its first products later that year.

Michael Heiss’s career has been firmly planted in the technology world. He attended the very first CEDIA Expo on behalf of founding member Harman Video – and spent the next 30+ years working and volunteering his time to make a better industry. Over his tenure, Heiss has become well-known for guiding the development, sourcing, production, implementation, and marketing of technology products and services. Well versed in both professional and consumer electronics, with a focus on the home technology professional market segment, Heiss has held management, marketing and technology development positions for leading hardware and software firms such as Harman International, Rank Video, NBC Television, as well Spectradyne, (the originator of pay-per-view hotel movie services) and Home Video Corp., (the first nationwide direct-to-home video software rental service).

In addition to his vast experience with manufacturers and service providers, Heiss is a Contributing Editor and feature writer for Residential Tech Today as well the US Correspondent for HiddenWires.com. He has also served in various CEDIA volunteer roles including: the CEDIA Board of Directors, The Technology Advisory Council, and has been a consistent instructor at industry tradeshows including CEDIA Expo and ISE, he was also named to the inaugural class of CEDIA Fellows. 

Mitchell Klein is a 30+ year industry veteran who has dedicated his career to educating the industry, building, creating and implementing strategic businesses and programs, and leading companies that helped bring smart home and custom installation into the mainstream. Klein is known for kicking off many key initiatives for CEDIA in almost every area including operational, educational, financial, legislative, and marketing. Examples include initiating and implementing CEDIA’s first strategic plan, the creation of an operating budget and reserve fund, introducing the CEDIA certification program and Management Conference, along with various policy and promotional projects.

Above all, Klein is hailed as a leader in IoT, consumer electronics, home automation, and the integrator market. In his role as the Executive Director of the Z-Wave Alliance, a consortium of leading IoT brands and influencers, Klein has grown membership to over 700 global companies and more than 3,000 certified products which represents over 60% growth during his tenure.

Prior to Z-Wave, Klein consulted for numerous consumer electronics brands, led business development for URC for several years and before that, he was in the home technology trenches, owning and running his own industry-leading, cutting-edge installation firm for over 14 years.

Klein is a CEDIA Fellow, former two-term CEDIA president and ongoing volunteer and is a regular contributor to trade and technology publications such as IoT for All, Residential Systems, IoT Agenda, and Essential Install. Klein is also a guest on and been interviewed for numerous trade publications, mainstream media outlets as well as podcasts such as Cheddar TV, Convergent AV, AVNation and Tech Republic. He is a regular presenter and panelist at key industry events including CES, CEDIA, ISE, ISC West, InfoComm, NSCA, CEA, TecHomeX, CABA Forum, Parks CONNECTIONS Summits, the bi-annual Z-Wave Summit, and many more.

In 1994, Silver founded The Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) which introduced video image quality calibration services into consumer electronics, and he has been a pillar of the industry ever since. His work in advancing HDTV image quality has been covered in the New York Times, the LA Times, Popular Mechanics, Wired, and numerous A/V publications in the United States and abroad. He has managed research projects for the California Energy Commission documenting how video calibration produces significant energy savings.

Silver has been a consultant for the high-end video, high-end audio, telemedicine, and medical management industries, as well as for Microsoft Media Center Edition PCs and the Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship program at the W. Averill Harriman School of Management. He is the producer of the HDTV Calibration Wizard DVD and is a co-inventor of the patented Microsoft Windows Display Calibration Wizard, which is now on over 111,000,000 PCs.

Silver also gives back to the industry, frequently volunteering his time. He as served on the CEDIA Awards Technical Judging Panel for the last several years and has been a popular instructor at CEDIA Expo. He also volunteers as the chair of the CTA and CEDIA committee on Home Theater Video recommended practices.

For the past 40 years, Eric Bodley has worked in nearly every aspect of the consumer electronics industry. Early in his career, he developed the custom installation division for specialty electronics retailer Sound Advice in Florida, and then, after forming Bodley & Associates, trained hundreds of sales associates with his IHAVS™ (In-Home Audio Video Specialist) program. From 1995 - 2009 he launched a myriad of products and programs for Monster Cable Products and started Florida Home Entertainment Design (a CEPro Top 100 Integrator and CEDIA Member). In 2009, he was recruited to launch the revolutionary Perfect Path™ brand of Locking HDMI Cables by PPC®, and most recently founded Future Ready Solutions - a national distributor of digital connectivity and fiber cable products for the commercial, residential, and retail markets.

Eric is a past president of CEDIA (1993 - 1994); is a CEDIA Fellow; served as a CEDIA Awards judge; and has served as a member of the CEDIA Advisory Council. Additionally, Eric is a Past-Chairman of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) Small Business Council; a past member of the CTA Board of Industry Leaders (BIL); and the 2015 recipient of the CTA TechHome Leadership Award.

Frank White has been a member of the industry since 1983, and he has been an active CEDIA volunteer since 1989. Frank has seen success in his various roles in the industry from his 15-year tenure at Multiplex where he created the ChannelPlus brand, to his time at AMX where he helped guide the company through a period of rapid growth, bringing it to a $100 million company. Frank has continued delivering his expertise to a roster of satisfied clients as a founding partner of StayTuned.

In addition to helping the companies he works with grow, Frank has also been instrumental in the growth of CEDIA, serving six years on the CEDIA Board of Directors and delivering vision and leadership in a variety of volunteer positions. CEDIA training participants have awarded Frank the CEDIA Top 10 Instructor Award seven times, and Frank was a core developer of CEDIA Boot Camp, a training program that is still used by the association today.
