For everyone planning to attend our upcoming events, please know that your health and safety is CEDIA’s primary concern. We are implementing additional social distancing and safety measures in conjunction with each venue and state/local guidelines. You will see adjustments including an altered registration process, various food and beverage options, and adjusted room layouts. You also will be required to sign a Release, Waiver, and Assumption as part of the registration process. We also are encouraging everyone to follow the CDC’s advice to limit the spread of COVID-19. Please visit cdc.gov for the most up-to-date guidance. Recommended guidelines currently include:

HEALTH. If you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, as defined by CDC, you should not attend the event. Those with an increased risk severe illness from COVID-19 should not attend the event until after consulting with a medical professional.

REGISTRATION. Upon check-in everyone will be provided with a mask. You may wear your own if preferred.

MASK. It is highly recommended to wear a mask for the duration of the event. It is acceptable to remove mask when eating or drinking.

ATTIRE. Wear company branded clothing to easily identify your group.

HANDSHAKES. Refrain from shaking hands and instead use non-contact forms of greeting, such as a wave or thumbs up.

CAPACITY / DISTANCING. Observe the maximum possible personal space in meeting rooms, common areas, and display areas by standing six feet apart when possible. Reduced capacities and an altered schedule will be implemented.

HYGIENE. Attendees will be reminded to frequently wash hands, avoid touching their faces with unwashed hands, and cover coughs and sneezes.

FOOD. Mealtimes will be assigned to all sponsors and attendees at registration to maintain proper social distancing and food safety.

DISPLAY AREA. Increased space between sponsor displays and aisleways and defined traffic pattern to avoid overcrowding. Sponsors may opt to have plexi-barriers on table.

SWAG. Pre-packaged food / candies are not permitted. Sponsors will be permitted to pass out promotional items and printed materials.

VENUE. We are working with the venues that host our events to employ prudent precautions. Venues will provide hand sanitizing stations, as well as frequent wipe-downs of commonly touched areas.

This will be a new experience for us all. We appreciate your support in helping to limit the spread of COVID-19 and being respectful of the health and safety of everyone.
